Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects to ensure that work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities and monitoring project progress.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project personnel.
Monitor project schedules, work accomplishments, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
Ensure that construction works comply with approved plans, technical specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to check work quality and identify potential construction issues.
Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, documentation, and other technical reports.
Help identify and resolve construction-related problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor project costs and assist in ensuring that work is completed within the approved budget.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status, issues, and accomplishments.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager or management.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
Must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in construction or project management.
Must have knowledge of construction methods, engineering plans, technical specifications, and project scheduling.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical documents.
Must possess good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
Must be willing to conduct regular site visits and work at project locations as required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction-related software.
Must demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
