Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Calamba. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety. Daily tasks include reviewing and updating process documentation, coordinating with production and quality teams on process improvements, troubleshooting equipment and tooling issues, and implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Engineer will also support new product introductions, participate in root cause analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste, improve throughput, and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Calamba. Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to design, optimize, and document production workflows.
- Background in Industrial Engineering focused on productivity, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement in manufacturing environments.
- Foundational Mechanical Engineering skills, including understanding of mechanical design, materials, and production-related mechanical systems.
- Experience with Machining processes, tooling, and equipment setup, including troubleshooting and process refinement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a high-tech or precision manufacturing setting; experience in imaging, medical devices, or electronics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, engineering, and quality teams on-site in Calamba.
