Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Setup: Install, assemble, and set up new equipment and systems.
- Maintenance: Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure peak performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and identify the root causes of equipment malfunctions using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Repairs: Repair or replace defective components, often using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Testing: Test repaired equipment to confirm it is functioning correctly and make necessary adjustments.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for future reference and analysis.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Manage spare parts and consumables, tracking inventory levels to ensure their availability for repairs.
- Collaboration: Work with other technicians, engineers, and operations staff to coordinate maintenance efforts and resolve issues.
