Job Summary:
The District Sales Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in guiding and inspiring a sales team toward excellence. This role drives strategic execution, nurtures high-impact customer relationships, and shapes district performance to contribute meaningfully to the company’s healthcare mission. The District Sales Manager empowers the team to perform with purpose and accountability, leading by example and ensuring adherence to ethical, science-based promotion practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team within the district
- Drive strategic execution of sales plans and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze district sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensure all sales activities align with ethical and science-based promotion standards
- Mentor team members to enhance skills, motivation, and accountability
- Implement best practices in customer engagement and pharmaceutical sales processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic background
- 1–3 years of experience in a Sales Leadership role (Supervisor/Manager), preferably in pharmaceutical or consumer sales
- 4–6 years of experience as a Professional Medical Representative (PMR)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, market dynamics, and customer engagement strategies
