A Purchasing/Inventory Staff member buys needed company supplies, manages stock levels, and tracks inventory records. They connect suppliers with the warehouse to make sure materials arrive on time without overstocking. Main Duties Buying Items: Make purchase orders, look for good supplier prices, and order new stock. Tracking Stock: Watch stock levels, check incoming deliveries, and update inventory databases. Doing Counts: Count physical items in the warehouse and match them with computer records. Solving Problems: Talk with vendors about late deliveries, missing items, or damaged goods.
