Project Manager - Group PMO

Position target:

As a part of a Group PMO you will be responsible for managing, facilitating and high-quality end delivery of global and /or regional projects, which may cover business development, process optimisation, re-organisations, process deployments, IT-systems and infrastructure.

Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Project management in accordance with the Prince2 methodology, up-to-date DSV Project Model and applicable methodologies governing the specification of the allotted project.
2. Responsibility to plan, manage, deploy, mitigate risks and follow-up on assigned projects according to the defined methods (DSV Group) including:
   1. verification and control of KPIs,
   2. implementation of projects,
   3. facilitation and management of project team members,
   4. steering communication strategy with respect to all project stakeholders,
   5. participation in meetings with internal and external partners and customers,
   6. timely and high-quality preparation of instructions/maps/checklists/overviews/reports about the implemented processes and project progress (according to DSV adhering standards and policies),
   7. maintaining close cooperation to respective DSV functions in terms of change, management and proactive business case realization planning of the project.
3. Complex, proactive and solution-driven professional stakeholder management as per need and project situation in various governance set-ups (mainly internal DSV stakeholders).
4. Reporting responsibility to project stakeholders according to defined structures, i.e. project team, board, executive, but also to Group PMO Management or other identified by management relevant project stakeholders.
5. Work performed in Warsaw, Poland. Travel activities can be expected.
6. Expertise support of other employees,
7. Creating positive external and internal image, including taking care of personal appearance and workplace,
8. Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
9. Supervision of the assigned resources, especially: movable and technical devices, equipment, technical equipment, etc.,
10. Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of DSV.
11. Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.
12. Preventing waste, theft, disclosure of irregularities and fraud against the Company.
13. Compliance with safety and fire regulations.
14. Knowledge of goals of quality, environment protection, and working in accordance with the policy of the Company.
15. Compliance with commercial and business.
16. Perform all the tasks above in a professional manner, in accordance with the rules, procedures, instructions and regulations of the Company and Company’s organizational culture.
17. Being a role model in terms of behaviors that deliver the Values.

Education and skills:

1. Prince2 knowledge
2. Master’s degree
3. Very good command of English (DSV corporate language)
4. Certification in Prince2 is an advantage (DSVs overall project model)
5. MS Office knowledge
6. Good understanding of basic network technologies
7. Ability to manage/develop project teams
8. Ability to motivate employees
9. Team player
10. Ability to work under pressure
11. Strong interpersonal skills
12. Strong oral and written communication skills
13. Willingness to travel abroad 

Minimal work experience:

1. 5 years’ experience managing large projects
2. Knowledge of the transport and/or production industry
3. Experience with Telco and network providers and the ability to manage them technically
4. Experience in working in a large organization.
5. Experience in the Shared Service or BPO area
