The Messenger is responsible for the secure and timely delivery of packages, letters, and other important items. This role involves traveling to designated locations, maintaining a delivery schedule, and ensuring proper documentation of all items delivered or received.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery and Pickup:

• Collect and deliver documents, parcels, or packages within specified timeframes.
• Verify the recipient’s identity and obtain signatures when required.

Communication:

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and office staff regarding delivery status.
• Relay messages between departments or organizations as needed.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain logs of deliveries and pickups for accountability.
• Ensure proper handling of confidential or sensitive documents.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in a delivery or courier role is an advantage but not always required.

Skills:

• Time management and punctuality.
• Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry packages (usually up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable with extended periods of walking or driving.
• License: A valid driver’s license (if using a company vehicle).
