- A caretaker is responsible for maintaining and managing the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of a property or facility. Duties include cleaning, minor repairs, monitoring security, and ensuring the premises are well-maintained and operational. Caretakers may also assist with setting up spaces for events or responding to tenant or occupant requests.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
- Basic maintenance and repair skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience: Prior experience in property management, cleaning, or maintenance is advantageous.
- Personal Traits: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items, perform manual labor, and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
