Bank Statement Processor (Mid Shift)

We are the shared services arm of OMRON, supporting our global operations through efficient and reliable service delivery. We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team and work closely with international stakeholders to help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The primary responsibility of this role is to process and post cash collections and bank-related transactions for assigned OMRON markets. The role focuses on accurate and timely cash application, bank and receivables reconciliations, clearing account management, and resolving inquiries within agreed service levels, while supporting strong controls and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Collections & Bank Transactions

• Download daily bank statements and process bank transactions for assigned markets
• Process and post cash collections for assigned OMRON markets accurately and within agreed service levels
• Process and post other bank-related transactions for assigned markets
• Perform clearing account processing and clear XJ/PJ documents in Aratas

Reconciliations & Month-End

• Prepare the monthly bank account reconciliations and investigate reconciling items
• Perform AR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of financial records and transaction data

Receivables Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare and provide basic analysis and breakdown of accounts receivable aging
• Monitor transaction volumes and provide basic analysis to identify trends and support process improvements

Stakeholder Support & Issue Management

• Manage the team mailbox, making sure requests are acknowledged, tracked and resolved within agreed service levels
• Maintain and follow up on the BSP issue list until open items are resolved
• Respond to and resolve routine inquiries related to cash collections, bank transactions, and receivables aging
• Coordinate with Finance Managers, Accounting & Finance Department (AFD) representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of operational issues

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and established operating procedures
• Meet individual productivity, accuracy, and quality targets while contributing to overall team performance

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in process improvement initiatives, system testing, documentation updates, and knowledge-sharing activities as required
• Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Team Lead or Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or general accounting
• Experience posting cash receipts and reconciling bank transactions
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and AR aging
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred; JD Edwards experience is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets
• Good written and verbal English communication skills for working with international stakeholders
• Experience in a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage
• Must be willing to work mid shift (e.g., 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM PHT)
• Must be comfortable reporting on-site 1–2 times per week in Makati
