- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the engine room and deck areas.
- Handle the operation and routine checks of machinery and equipment.
- Support the Motorman in repair and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Keep accurate logs and reports of work performed.
- Preferably with L&G or Gas Experience
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime or Marine Engineering.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in marine operations.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of ship systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain engine room equipment, assist in watchkeeping, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Working Conditions: Typically onboard vessels, involving long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and possessing strong problem-solving abilities.
