As the Executive Director - Project Delivery for a major theme park project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of an iconic giga theme park—all while working in an On-site capacity. Your expertise in roller coaster construction will be essential to ensuring the successful delivery of this ambitious project.
Short-term goals (First 30 days)
- Assess current project timelines and deliverables to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
- Review existing project plans and documentation, identifying potential risks and challenges.
- Develop a detailed onboarding plan for new team members, focusing on project objectives and safety protocols.
- Initiate relationships with local authorities and vendors to streamline construction processes and compliance.
Long-term impact (First Year)
- Lead the project delivery team to achieve major milestones, ensuring the park’s attractions, including roller coasters, are completed on schedule.
- Implement best practices for construction management, enhancing efficiency and safety across all phases of the project.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, driving continuous improvement in project execution.
- Monitor and manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial resources are utilized optimally throughout the project lifecycle.
