Multimedia Designer - Fashion Industry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative Multimedia Designer focused on designing graphics and visual concepts for trending clothing. The role involves creating stylish, market-relevant designs for apparel such as t-shirts, hoodies, and streetwear pieces. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of current fashion trends, branding, and consumer appeal, with the ability to translate ideas into wearable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original graphic designs for clothing items based on current fashion and streetwear trends.
• Develop seasonal design concepts aligned with brand identity and target market.
• Design prints, patterns, and artwork for apparel (e.g., t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags).
• Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to ensure designs stay relevant and in-demand.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for printing or embroidery.
• Prepare print-ready files and ensure proper placement, sizing, and color accuracy on garments.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Assist in branding elements such as logos and collection themes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in apparel or fashion graphic design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing clothing or merchandise designs.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, especially in streetwear and casual wear.
• Knowledge of garment printing methods (screen printing, DTG, embroidery).
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple design projects.

 Preferred Skills:

• Experience with trend forecasting and mood board creation.
• Familiarity with youth culture, social media trends, and fashion influencers.
• Basic knowledge of fabric types and garment construction.
