Finance Supervisor/Accounting/Finance

What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities of the finance team
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Analysing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Mentoring and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
