Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in cost control or project estimation
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Experience monitoring project budgets and evaluating expenditures
Skills Required
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Project cost monitoring and analysis
- Budget forecasting and cost-control skills
- Ability to identify and mitigate cost overruns
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and forecast final costs
- Review progress billings, change orders, and variation requests for pricing accuracy
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Procurement, and Accounting to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate project cost records and cost-coding systems
- Monitor and help prevent project cost overruns
