Purchasing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily purchasing operations.
- Review purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, and pricing.
- Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure favorable purchasing conditions.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
Supplier & Vendor Relations
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
- Resolve supplier issues regarding quality, delivery delays, or service complaints.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor purchase costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Analyze market trends, price movements, and supply risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
