About the role
The position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and the Supervisor with the smooth daily operations of the restaurant, ensure exceptional guest service and their satisfaction, use upselling techniques to drive food and beverage sales to ensure the restaurant operates successfully and is profitable in accordance with the standards of the company.
Key responsibilities
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, following recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
Set up station according to restaurant guidelines and restock all items as needed throughout shift
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation and organization skills
Understand and properly use and maintain all equipment in station
Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, coolers and all storage areas
Control a given section in the absence of the Kitchen Manager and perform in line with standards
Perform stewarding duties such as equipment, plates, glasses and utensils washing
Set up tables to standard and ensure all items necessary for service are cleaned and in proper condition
Utilize suggestive selling techniques when waiting on customers
Ensure assigned tables are clean and with standard set-up
About you
Preferably has experience with Kitchen Staff or Restaurant Staff positions
Can work under pressure
Amenable to work in Quezon City
Pleasing personality
Knowledgeable in all menu items and ongoing promotions
