Office Engineer

- Review and interpret plans and drawings – Ensure that construction is aligned with the project’s design and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation – Including daily progress reports, site inspection reports, and test results.
- Estimate quantities and costs – Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials and labor.
- Support project scheduling – Monitor project timelines and ensure activities are completed as per schedule.
- Coordinate with site engineers – Relay technical information and ensure plans are executed properly on-site.
- Conduct material take-offs and requisitions – Identify and request needed construction materials.
- Check and evaluate subcontractor work – Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Assisting project engineers and site supervisors.
- Preparing and managing project documents (RFIs, submittals, transmittals).
- Monitoring project progress and preparing reports.
- Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Supporting procurement and inventory tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Board-licensed (Civil Engineer ).
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in construction projects, office engineering, or project documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD , MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with construction drawings , plans, and specifications.
- Basic knowledge in quantity surveying , cost estimation , and project scheduling .
- Understanding of materials submittals , RFI/RFA processes , and as-built documentation .
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills.
