We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchaser to join our procurement team. In the fast-paced world of cosmetics manufacturing, timing and quality are everything. You will play a vital role in ensuring our production lines have the high-quality raw materials, packaging, and laboratory supplies they need to create world-class beauty products.
Location: 154 E. Fresno Street, San Bartolome, California Village, Quezon City, 1116 Metro Manila
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Raw Materials: Purchase chemicals, active ingredients, fragrances, and pigments in compliance with strict quality and regulatory standards.
- Packaging Procurement: Coordinate the timely delivery of bottles, tubes, labels, and secondary packaging to meet production schedules.
- Vendor Communication: Maintain daily contact with suppliers to track orders, confirm lead times, and resolve any shipping or quality discrepancies.
- Documentation Management: Collect and organize essential documents such as Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for every shipment.
- Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels of essential consumables to prevent "stock-out" situations that could halt manufacturing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the cosmetics supply chain and the importance of ingredient shelf-life and storage conditions.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines, ORGANIZED.
