- Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Allocate tasks and monitor the progress of crew members.
- Team Management:
- Train, motivate, and guide team members.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Safety Oversight:
- Implement and monitor safety measures on-site.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Resource Management:
- Oversee the use of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Report on inventory needs and manage supply requisitions.
- Communication:
- Serve as the liaison between the crew, project managers, and clients.
- Provide regular updates and maintain accurate records of progress and challenges.
- Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in construction is a plus.
Proven experience as a Foreman or in a supervisory role, preferably in construction or a related field.
- Skills:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of construction tools, methods, and safety protocols.
- Certifications (preferred but not always required):
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification.
First aid and CPR certification.
- Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Physical stamina to oversee long hours on-site and lift heavy materials when needed.
