Baker

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery items including bread, pastries, muffins, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes and portion specifications accurately.
• Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
• Ensure freshness and quality of all baked goods.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies.
• Decorate cakes and pastries (if applicable).
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes or seasonal products.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (as required).
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients (up to 50 lbs).
