Must-have skills: SAP S/4HANA functional delivery experience across manufacturing modules (PP, MM, SD, QM, PM) with at least 3+ years of bilingual consulting experience and 2 or more full-cycle SAP implementation projects.

Good-to-have skills: SAP Certification (PP / MM / PM / SCM) and experience in integration with Finance and Logistics.

We are looking for a Japanese Bilingual Consultant (Japanese & English) with business level proficiency in reading and speaking who, along with using a deep knowledge of S/4HANA Manufacturing capabilities as a functional consultant, can also drive design workshops with the client and be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, gap analysis in any of the areas in S4 PP/MM/PM/SCM. They should be able to:

• Lead team of functional consultants for tasks related to design workshops, configuration, testing, UAT, Cutover, GO-Live & Post GO-Live support activities.

• Drive SAP-led manufacturing transformation projects focusing on modules such as PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance)

• Support business assessment and roadmaps for clients, Client advisory on S/4HANA led transformation to overcome client’s business challenges.

• Assist with solutions for end-to-end RFPs (request for proposal)

• Develop accelerators, reusable assets, and POVs (Points of View) focused on Intelligent Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Digital Twin concepts.

Bring your best skills forward to excel at the role:

• Deep functional knowledge in SAP Manufacturing (PP/MM/SD/QM/PM) modules with cross-functional understanding of logistics and supply chain

• Experience in S/4HANA Manufacturing, Production Planning, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration.

• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2) — able to conduct workshops, document requirements, and coordinate across Japanese and global client teams.

• Ability to perform fit-gap analysis , design configuration solutions, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.

• Exposure to SAP Best Practices , LEAN manufacturing processes , and Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, Predictive Maintenance, Digital Thread) preferred.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills to engage with C-suite stakeholders.

• Experience in proposal development, solutioning, and client advisory for SAP transformation initiatives.

• Minimum 10 year(s) of Bilingual (Japanese and English) consulting experience is required including 3 years or more of end-to-end implementation of SAP projects

• Advise clients on the SAP processes based on leading industry practices

• Effectively perform a FIT-GAP analysis

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement

• Provide training and support to end user teams on best practices

• Ensure all client activities are documented and tracked in the system

• Participate in the development of thought leadership content, including white papers and presentations on High-Tech industry topics
