About us

Kalido Hospitality Group is a boutique aparthotel operator in Vancouver, Canada, with three properties (Smithe House, Keefer House, Block House), more than 110 units, and a growing pipeline across British Columbia. Our hotels are design-led, fully furnished, and built for stays of one night to several months.

Why this role exists

Our revenue strategy is guided by an experienced external revenue partner. We need a dedicated Revenue Manager on our team to carry out that strategy every day: making sure all our channels are producing, rates are built and loaded correctly, listings are accurate, and problems are caught before they cost us money.

What you’ll do

• Keep all channels producing: Monitor Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, and more importantly our direct website every day. If a channel slows down, find out why and fix it, whether it’s pricing, visibility, content, or a system issue.

• Create and manage rates: Build rate plans, rate codes, promotions, and restrictions in Mews (PMS) and SiteMinder (channel manager), and make sure they load correctly on every channel.

• Review listings: Regularly audit our listings on every channel, including photos, descriptions, room types, amenities, policies, and promotions, so they are accurate, consistent, and competitive.

• Find and fix discrepancies: Catch rate parity issues, mapping errors, availability mismatches, stacked discounts, and wrong cancellation policies, and resolve them fast.

• Weekend coverage: Monitor rates, pickup, and channels on weekends, and act on anything urgent, such as compression nights, sync errors, or sudden drops.

• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pickup, pace, channel mix, and commission costs.

• Analysis: Go beyond the numbers. Spot trends, explain what changed and why, and recommend clear actions to our revenue partner and leadership.

What success looks like

• First 30 days: You know our properties, systems, and channels inside out, and you’re running daily checks and reports independently.

• First 90 days: Fewer discrepancies, faster fixes, cleaner listings, and reporting leadership can trust.

• First 12 months: Every channel performing at its best, with measurable gains in ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR, and lower commission costs.

You must have

• At least 5 years of hotel revenue management experience (hotels, aparthotels, or serviced apartments). Short-term rental pricing alone is not enough.

• Hands-on experience with OTA extranets (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb) and a channel manager.

• Experience building rate plans and rate codes in a PMS or channel manager.

• Strong understanding of revenue KPIs: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pickup, pace, and channel mix.

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.

• Excellent written English and clear communication.

• Strong attention to detail. One wrong rate can cost us thousands.

• A reliable internet connection, backup power, and a professional home office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mews and/or SiteMinder.

• Experience with rate shopping tools or revenue management systems.

• Knowledge of the North American travel market.

Schedule and pay

• Full-time, remote, with at least 4 hours of overlap with Vancouver business hours (Pacific Time).

• Weekend coverage is a core part of the role.

• Salary: CAD $1,500/month, based on experience.

• Quarterly performance bonus tied to revenue results.
