SPED / PARA TEACHER

The SPED Teacher / Parateacher will provide one-on-one support to a child enrolled in an international school in Makati City. The role involves assisting the child academically, socially, and behaviorally while promoting independence and ensuring a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic and classroom support to the child.
- Assist the child in understanding lessons, completing schoolwork, and participating in classroom activities.
- Implement strategies and accommodations based on the child's developmental and educational needs.
- Support the child's social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress.
- Monitor and document the child's daily performance, behavior, and milestones.
- Encourage independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a child-centered approach at all times.
- Ensure the child's safety and well-being throughout school hours.
- Communicate effectively in English with the child, teachers, and school staff.
