Full Stack Developer (UI/UX Focused) - Work from Home

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a unique blend of engineering discipline and a strong passion for UI/UX design. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and development, owning the creation of modern, user-centric web applications from the ground up. Your primary toolkit will consist of React on the frontend and FastAPI (Python) on the backend. The ideal candidate isn't just focused on making code work—you care deeply about intuitive user flows, pixel-perfect responsiveness, and building scalable, secure, high-performance backend systems to back it all up. Employment Type: Full-time Location: Remote Experience Level: Mid-to-Senior Key Responsibilities 1. Frontend Engineering & UI/UX Realization (React) Develop responsive, modern, and visually stunning web applications using React and TypeScript. Translate wireframes, Figma prototypes, and UI/UX designs into modular, high-quality, production-ready interfaces. Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems using Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI. Optimize frontend performance, ensuring quick load times, excellent SEO health, and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG). 2. Backend & API Architecture (FastAPI) Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs utilizing FastAPI and Python. Architect and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy. Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth) and strict API security best practices. Manage background tasks, asynchronous workers, and real-time features using Redis and Webhooks. 3. Product Collaboration & Design Thinking Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to run usability tests and continuously iterate on user feedback. Act as an advocate for user-centered design, occasionally creating quick wireframes or interactive user flows when building out new features. Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring the platform can support multi-tenant SaaS environments or complex customer portals. 4. DevOps & Code Quality Maintain exceptional code quality through automated testing, thorough documentation, and constructive peer code reviews. Manage containerized deployment pipelines using Docker, GitHub Actions, and Azure cloud infrastructure. Job Requirements Technical Qualifications Frontend Mastery: Proven experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern state management (Zustand, Redux, or Context API). Styling & UI Frameworks: Deep familiarity with utility-first CSS, specifically Tailwind CSS paired with component libraries like ShadCN UI or Material UI. Backend Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI, with a strong handle on asynchronous programming. Database Management: Proficient in SQL, specifically PostgreSQL, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like SQLAlchemy. DevOps Essentials: Experience with Git workflows, Docker containerization, and basic CI/CD pipeline configuration. Required Documentation for Application Application Note: Candidates are required to submit a Portfolio of Projects that explicitly showcases your UI/UX expertise alongside your code repository links. Applications without design/frontend samples will not be considered. Preferred & "Nice-to-Have" Experience Familiarity with Next.js for server-side rendering advantages. Hands-on experience designing SaaS Dashboards, customer portals, or multi-tenant architectures. Prior experience with CRM integrations, specifically GoHighLevel APIs. Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating Large Language Models (LLMs). Familiarity with design tools like Figma. Soft Skills An uncompromising eye for pixel-perfect UI/UX detail. Excellent communication skills—the ability to articulate technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders. A self-starter mindset; comfortable taking ownership of a feature from conception to deployment. Enhance User Engagement: Successfully identify and fix at least one major UX bottleneck within our current platform.
