Property and Maintenance Personnel

A. Property and Asset Management

• Maintain an updated inventory of all buildings, equipment, tools, furniture, and fixtures.
• Monitor asset condition and recommend repair, replacement, or disposal as necessary.
• Oversee procurement requests related to property and maintenance.

B. Facility Maintenance and Operations

• Implement daily monitoring of classrooms, offices, laboratories, and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Ensure proper functioning of utilities such as water, electricity, internet, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to repair and maintenance requests efficiently and ensure timely resolution.

C. Safety, Security, and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes, including fire safety, waste management, and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer for emergency preparedness, facility inspections, and hazard mitigation.
• Assist in managing security personnel and ensuring proper safety protocols.

D. Contractor and Supplier Coordination

• Review quotations, purchase orders, and service agreements for maintenance-related work.
• Supervise the performance of third-party service providers (e.g., pest control, janitorial, contractors).
• Validate completed work and ensure service quality before endorsement for payment.

E. Administrative and Reporting Tasks

• Prepare maintenance reports, incident logs, inspection checklists, and inventory updates.
• Assist in budget planning for property maintenance and capital expenditures.
• Recommend improvements for facility upkeep and long-term property planning.
