Machine Operator

- Operate and monitor refining units and equipment such as pumps, heaters, compressors, and distillation columns.
- Adjust control settings to regulate process variables including temperature, pressure, flow rate, and levels.
- Conduct routine inspections and checks on equipment to identify irregularities or potential issues.
- Record operational data such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates accurately in logbooks or computer systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations by taking corrective actions.
- Coordinate with other operators, maintenance, and control room personnel to maintain smooth operations.
- Participate in shutdowns, startups, and emergency procedures as required.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of plant equipment and work areas.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Vocational certificate, or equivalent; technical training is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in refinery operations or related industrial plant setting.
- Knowledge of refining processes, safety standards, and control systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
