Senior Business Analyst – Investment Banking Transformation
Senior Business Analyst Investment Banking | Finance Transformation Openings 2 positions Monthly salary Up to ₱120,000 Work arrangement Hybrid, 2 days onsite/week Working hours 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Notice period 30 days Experience 8–12 years overall ## About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic finance transformation program within the investment banking industry. The successful candidate will work across Finance, Technology, Data, and regional business teams to improve front-to-back processes, align business operations with a global target operating model, and support successful implementation of transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a business analysis professional with strong investment banking knowledge, finance process expertise, and experience delivering complex transformation, data migration, or regulatory change initiatives. ## Key Responsibilities * Assess and document current-state business processes, system flows, data requirements, accounting, reporting, and control processes.
* Analyze differences across products, business desks, legal entities, and regions, identifying opportunities for standardization.
* Apply the global target operating model and identify implementation gaps, required local variations, and potential solutions.
* Translate business needs into clear, complete, and testable business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
* Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops with Finance, Technology, Data, architects, product owners, and subject-matter experts.
* Support gap analysis, solution assessment, decision-making, and implementation planning.
* Define and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, requirement validation, walkthroughs, and defect resolution.
* Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
* Prepare operating procedures, go-live documentation, training materials, and business-readiness deliverables. ## Qualifications and Requirements * 8–12 years of overall professional experience, including substantial business analysis or operating-model experience.
* Strong experience in banking, investment banking, or regulated financial services.
* Solid understanding of investment banking products and transaction lifecycles.
* Knowledge of Finance processes, accounting, reporting, and control frameworks.
* Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation, data migration, or regulatory change programs.
* Strong requirements documentation skills, including user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
* Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. ## Preferred Qualifications * Exposure to legal-entity, business-desk, product, or regional rollouts.
* Experience in UAT planning and execution, requirements traceability, RAID management, and implementation readiness.
* Familiarity with target operating models and front-to-back investment banking transformation. ## Work Details * Work arrangement: Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week
* Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
* Notice period: 30 days
