Job Summary
We are looking for a Dining Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our dining team and help deliver a consistently excellent guest experience.
The role will focus on floor supervision, team coordination, service quality, guest relations, and dining operations . The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Experience with wine and elevated dining service is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the dining team during assigned shifts and ensure smooth coordination throughout service.
- Monitor the overall guest experience, from arrival and seating to order taking, service, and departure.
- Assign duties and provide direction to servers and other dining staff based on operational requirements.
- Coach team members on proper service procedures, guest engagement, and dining standards.
- Ensure tables, dining areas, service stations, and other guest-facing areas are properly prepared before and throughout operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure orders and guest requests are communicated and served efficiently.
- Assist guests with menu and beverage selections, including wine recommendations and food pairings when appropriate.
- Address guest requests, concerns, and service issues professionally and escalate matters when necessary.
- Assist in managing reservations, table assignments, guest flow, and special occasions.
- Support opening and closing routines, including outlet readiness, cash accountability, and shift reports.
- Help monitor compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and company operating procedures.
- Assist management in identifying opportunities to improve service, staff performance, and overall dining operations.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant operations , preferably in a supervisory, senior server, or team leader capacity.
- Background in fine dining, premium casual dining, wine-focused restaurants, or similar hospitality environments is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of professional dining service and guest relations.
- Knowledge of wine, wine service, and food pairing is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to effectively guide and motivate a team during busy service periods.
- Customer-focused, organized, and attentive to details.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Willing to work shifting schedules, evenings, weekends, and holidays .
