Active / Wet Fire Estimator (Sprinkler & Hydrant Systems) - Remote

We are looking for an experienced Active / Wet Fire Estimator with strong background in Fire Sprinkler, Hydrant, and Fire Detection Systems for Australian or New Zealand projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tender estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and pricing of fire protection systems.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in wet fire services, hydraulic fire systems, and fire protection estimating workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for:
- Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Fire Detection / Fire Alarm Systems
- Review tender drawings, specifications, and fire engineering documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation
- Prepare pricing, material breakdowns, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
- Prepare mark-up drawings and tender submissions
- Review variations and additional scope works
- Ensure compliance with AU/NZ fire protection standards and project requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Active Fire / Wet Fire Estimator
- Experience with:
- Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Hydrant Systems
- Fire Detection / Alarm Systems
- Experience in AU or NZ projects is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of fire protection drawings and specifications
- Experience in tender estimation and BOQ preparation
- Knowledge of Australian/NZ fire standards is an advantage
- Proficient in estimating software such as:
- Bluebeam
- CostX
- PlanSwift
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP (advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
