CAD/BIM Manager

Context

The CAD Manager will oversee CAD standards, workflows, and templates across projects. 

Missions/Main Duties

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and advancement of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes within the organization. This role ensures that design and construction teams leverage digital technologies effectively to improve accuracy, collaboration, and project delivery.
• Manage software platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D) and ensure compatibility across disciplines
• Develop and enforce CAD/BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projects..
• Provide strategic direction for BIM adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of models.
• Ensure deliverables meet industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Train and mentor staff on CAD/BIM tools and processes
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to maintain productivity

Profile/Skills

• Knowledge of construction processes, design standards, and project workflows
• Knowledge in bridges projects
• Knowledge in post tensioning detailing
• Knowledge in reinforcement detailing
• Knowledge in Parametric software such as Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams
• Multitasking
