About the Client
Our client is a US-based that supports small and medium businesses with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. They prioritize accuracy, timely insight, and practical advice, and are expanding their offshore accounting team in the Philippines to support increasing client demand.

The Role
This Senior QuickBooks Accountant will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients using QuickBooks Online. You will act as a senior member of a small, high-accountability team, providing technical QuickBooks expertise, process improvements, and mentoring to more junior staff. In the first six months, success looks like managing a defined client portfolio independently, delivering timely month-end close and reconciliations, and contributing to improved workflows and documentation.

What You'll Do

• Record all vendor invoices

• Maintain accounts payable

• Pay vendor invoices and provide reporting on behalf of clients

• Prepare client invoices based on contract milestones

• Maintain accounts receivable

• Follow up on past-due collections and provide client reporting

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payroll accounts

• Prepare payroll and payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports

• Prepare sales tax reports

• Review and record general ledger transactions

• Prepare monthly compiled financial statements

• Provide ongoing QuickBooks consulting and support to clients

• Identify, correct, and report accounting issues

• Enter job costing, estimates, sales orders, and class reporting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in US Bookkeeping

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office

• Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus
