IP DRG Auditor - Medical Coder (Ortigas, Alabang, Clark)

Ingenious Philippines is hiring! We are looking for IP DRG Auditor in Alabang, Ortigas and Clark!
Qualification:
- Must have an active AAPC or AHIMA License
- DRG Auditor should have solid IP experience with experience in DRG Auditing.
- Preferred to have someone with auditing experience.
- Amenable to work onsite (nightshift)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for abstracting, coding, and sequencing diagnoses, medical/surgical procedures, and treatment modalities according to appropriate classification system [International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10 CM and PCS), American Medical Association Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding system, and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS)] for inpatient encounters, meeting productivity and quality measures daily.
- Review appropriate provider documentation to determine principal diagnosis, co-morbidities and complications, secondary conditions, and surgical procedures.
- Assign Present on Admission (POA) value for inpatient diagnoses as a supplement for ICD-10 CM coding.
- Assign correct diagnostic related grouping (DRG) and perform coding compliance reviews. Follow official coding guidelines to review and analyze health records.
