A Sales Agent is responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships. They work to understand client needs, present suitable products or services, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and contact potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet them.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions in CRM software.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve sales strategies.
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in business or marketing is a plus).
