Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator – Wireline supports the planning, coordination, and execution of wireline network deployment projects, including fiber optic and broadband infrastructure builds. The role assists project leads and cross-functional teams in managing schedules, documentation, vendor coordination, and progress tracking to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Assist in coordinating wireline network deployment projects including fiber rollout, access network expansion, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support the Project Lead/Manager in monitoring project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track project activities and ensure tasks are completed according to schedule.

Schedule & Resource Management

• Maintain project schedules and update progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams for resource planning.
• Monitor project dependencies and escalate delays or risks.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers involved in wireline deployment.
• Track vendor deliverables, work completion reports, and documentation.
• Support contract and procurement processes related to project execution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project documentation including permits, site records, technical documents, and status reports.
• Prepare regular project updates and dashboards for management.
• Ensure proper documentation for project approvals and handover to operations.

Communication & Stakeholder Support

• Facilitate communication between project teams, field technicians, vendors, and internal departments.
• Organize project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-up on deliverables.

Quality & Compliance Support

• Assist in ensuring projects follow company standards, telecom regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Support quality checks and documentation for project acceptance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in project coordination, preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of wireline networks, fiber deployment, or telecom infrastructure.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FTTH, fiber rollout, or telecom infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of telecom permitting, site coordination, or contractor management.
