Financial Reporting and Compliance Officer

SCOPE OF WORK :
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and prepare underlying adjusting entries.
- Review General Ledger account entries and balances, propose and book journal entries and prepare supporting schedules as needed.
- Prepare the annual budget and monthly financial statements and regularly report results to Finance management on a timely basis.
- . Submit regular reports required by the government agencies (SEC, BIR & PCNC) and other parties.
- . Ensure the effective functioning of the Sage 50 computerized accounting system and coordinate additional requirements, if any.
- . Review and document existing Finance policies and procedures and create new ones as needed.
- Assist in the year-end external audit review and implementation of audit recommendations.
- . Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Finance Operations Manager.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- With at least three (3) years of experience in general accounting, reporting, or its equivalent
- With exposure in computerized accounting systems and experience in tax and other statutory reporting compliance
- Proficient in MS Windows applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Has good analytical skills
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills
