Accounting Assistant / QuickBooks Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant / QuickBooks Specialist who can handle daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accounting records using QuickBooks
- Record and update daily financial transactions and journal entries
- Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statements
- Prepare and monitor Cash Flow Reports
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Check and verify receipts, invoices, vouchers, and other supporting documents
- Prepare BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source)
- Assist in monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date
- Coordinate with management, suppliers, clients, and other departments regarding accounting concerns
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related course
- With experience using QuickBooks
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and preparation of financial statements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willing to learn and adapt to new accounting processes and systems
Preferred:
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
