The Accounting Assistant / Accounting Staff with Administrative Duties is responsible for assisting with the company’s daily accounting operations, including disbursements, bookkeeping, recording and monitoring financial transactions, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The position will also provide administrative support, including booking flights and coordinating travel arrangements when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and monitor company disbursements and payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Record and monitor daily financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounting records and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper supporting documents.
- Maintain organized and updated accounting files and documents.
- Prepare accounting reports using MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Assist in monitoring accounts payable and other company obligations.
- Coordinate with departments regarding payment requests and supporting documents.
- Book domestic and international flights as requested.
- Assist in arranging and coordinating company travel requirements.
- Maintain records of flight bookings, itineraries, and travel-related documents.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and summaries.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
