POSITION SUMMARY:

Talent Map Global BPO, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Digital Workforce Agent (DWA) Developer to join our Global Capability Center (GCC) engineering team in the Philippines. Supporting U.S. enterprise clients, you will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based microservices, REST API endpoints, and AI-agent tools. Working alongside senior developers, you will leverage modern AI-assisted engineering platforms (such as Devin Desktop), write Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test suites, and help deploy configurable AI solutions into Microsoft Azure environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Python API & Agent Feature Development (40%): Build, test, and maintain backend microservices using Python and FastAPI under senior guidance. Implement RESTful API endpoints, small-scope agent tools, and interface components for reusable AI solutions.

2. Testing & Quality Assurance (30%): Author and execute unit, integration, and platform acceptance tests using pytest. Write Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios using Gherkin syntax (Given/When/Then) to validate agent behaviors against non-sensitive synthetic datasets.

3. Platform Maintenance & Technical Documentation (20%): Perform routine debugging and root-cause analysis for software defects in lower environments. Maintain technical documentation, including OpenAPI/Swagger references and developer deployment guides.

4. Agile Collaboration & AI-Assisted Tooling (10%): Utilize approved AI-assisted development platforms (including Devin Desktop) for code generation, refactoring, and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum framework.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education and Experience:

   • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

   • High School Diploma may be considered with a minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience.

   • 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience, with foundational proficiency in Python and API concepts.

   • Experience developing, testing, or maintaining backend applications, APIs, microservices, or related software solutions is preferred.

   • Exposure to Agile/Scrum software development environments is an advantage.

2. Systems and Technical Skills:

• Foundational proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.

• Working knowledge of APIs, RESTful endpoints, JSON, and basic microservice concepts.

• Familiarity with Git-based version control and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps Repos.

• Basic understanding of containerization, including Docker images, containers, and registries.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-computing concepts.

• Familiarity with software testing using pytest, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Gherkin syntax, pytest-bdd, or behave is an advantage.

• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to learn and utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools, including Devin Desktop or comparable platforms.

• Basic understanding of debugging, root-cause analysis, code refactoring, and software-quality practices.

4. Work Requirements:

• Full-time position supporting the Global Capability Center (GCC) and U.S.-based enterprise clients.

• Ability to work U.S. business hours / Philippine graveyard or night shift as required.

• Ability to work in a remote or hybrid setup based on business and operational requirements.

• Ability to collaborate with senior developers, architects, and geographically distributed engineering teams.

• Ability to develop and test solutions using approved development environments, tools, and non-sensitive datasets.

• Must follow established software-development, testing, documentation, information-security, and deployment standards.

• Reliable internet connection and appropriate remote-work environment when working remotely.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

1. Base Salary - Competitive gross basic monthly salary, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, certifications, and specialized technical expertise

2. Night Shift Differential - Provided in accordance with applicable Philippine labor requirements and company policy.

3. Statutory Benefit s - SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th-month pay, and applicable holiday pay in accordance with Philippine law.

4. Allowances - Applicable de minimis or work-related allowances, subject to company policy and employment terms.
