Job Requirements
-Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
-Preferably (2) years of related work experience
-Good analytical skills
-Attentive to details and computation
-Average verbal and written communication skills
-Good interpersonal skills
-Good in MS Excel and MS Word
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete posting and printing of request for payment (RFP) entries and non-trade transactions received from accounting
The roles and responsibilities for this position includes:
- Posts and prints request for payment (RFP) for trade and non-trade transactions
- Prepares sales reports for various airlines and corresponds RFPs
-Assists in the monthly closing of books
-Prepares monthly Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) report
-Prepares monthly VAT returns and quarterly VAT relief
-Prepares schedule of profit share of agents and the corresponding credit memo
-Supports Accounting/Finance team by performing urgent tasks as required
-Participates in various company-wide initiatives and departmental activities
