A Captain Waiter supervises a specific restaurant section, acting as a leader to ensure high-quality service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Key duties include training staff, managing table setups, taking orders, handling complaints, and coordinating between the front-of-house and kitchen. They ensure smooth service, maintain cleanliness standards, and assist with billing
Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership: Supervises waitstaff, delegates tasks, and ensures the restaurant station is properly set up and stocked. They also train, coach, and evaluate performance of staff.
- Guest Service & Experience: Welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures top-notch service to enhance guest satisfaction. They are responsible for checking in with guests during meals and resolving complaints.
- Operational Coordination: Acts as a liaison between the kitchen and floor staff to ensure timely food delivery. They manage the flow of service to keep the kitchen steady.
- Technical Skills & Service: Serves food and beverages, processes payments using the POS system, and handles cleaning of service areas.
- Administrative Duties: Conducts inventory of supplies, prepares reports for management, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar leadership or service role.
- Skills: Good communication, leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of food and beverage, and proficiency in POS systems.
- Can work in Anywhere city of Saudi Arabia
- With experience in Hotel, Resorts and fine dining restaurant.
- Can work under pressure, multi-tasking.
