What you’ll do

You’ll be a hands-on contributor in our firm, providing end-to-end bookkeeping, payroll, reporting and compliance services to our clients, owning outcomes and working alongside experienced and supportive professionals.

• Assist with the delivery of bookkeeping and compliance services to our range of international clients, who have recently expanded their businesses into Australia
  

• Provide general support to our business formation and compliance business division which services the accounting and legal professions across Australia.
  

• Reviews and oversees the work of junior bookkeepers, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards (essential for Senior Bookkeeper role)
  

• Organisational compliance with tax regulations, requirements, standards, and other guidance.
  

• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS returns
  

• Bookkeeping (Xero, Quickbooks, Netsuite, others)
  

• Payroll preparation
  

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting (CPA highly regarded but not essential)
  

• Xero certification (preferred)
  

• Minimum 5 years' experience with Australian bookkeeping and tax (GST, BAS, IAS, etc.)
  

• Practical experience in AP, AR, payroll, and management reporting
  

• Strong time management and attention to detail
  

• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
  

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn from colleagues
