- Material Preparation: Mix cement, mortar, and concrete according to project specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand plans to determine structural dimensions and material requirements.
- Foundation and Formwork: Set up and remove forms for concrete structures and prepare foundations.
- Masonry Construction: Lay brick, stone, or concrete blocks to build walls, partitions, columns, and other structures.
- Carpentry Tasks: Cut, assemble, and install wooden components for construction projects.
- Surface Finishing: Apply finishes to concrete and masonry surfaces, including plastering and polishing.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracked or broken concrete, point brickwork, and restore damaged masonry structures.
- Quality Control: Ensure structures are properly aligned and meet construction standards.
- Tool Operation: Proficiently use various hand and power tools specific to carpentry and masonry work.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean work area and ensure the safety of the construction site.
- Manual Dexterity and Strength
- Proficiency in using various masonry and carpentry tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans
- Knowledge of mixing mortar and concrete
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina for demanding work
