About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Support Associate to assist our U.S. loan underwriting team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting underwriting decisions by reviewing documentation, preparing loan files, and ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the lending process.

Key Responsibilities
- Support underwriters by preparing and reviewing U.S. loan files.
- Collect, organize, and validate borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, disclosures)
- Perform data entry and quality checks in loan origination systems (LOS)
- Ensure loan files meet internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Track outstanding conditions and follow up with internal teams as needed
- Assist with pre-underwriting and post-underwriting tasks
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely file completion
- Communicate loan status updates clearly and professionally
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in underwriting support, loan processing, or financial services (preferred)
- Basic understanding of U.S. loan or mortgage processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with systems, documentation, and data
Nice to Have
- Experience with U.S. mortgage or consumer loan products
- Familiarity with LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass or similar)
- Exposure to underwriting, credit analysis, or risk assessment
- Background in finance, business, or a related field
