Property Maintenance Assistant – Job Description
Overview:
Property Maintenance Assistant supports the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This role ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine maintenance and repair of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for major repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and concerns
- Keep records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is an advantage
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks

Work Environment:
