Building Maintenance Technician

Chef’s Secret Inc. is seeking a skilled, proactive Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering and Facilities team at our food manufacturing plant in Santolan, Pasig City.
Equipment & Machinery Maintenance
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and calibrations on automated food production equipment, including commercial mixers, continuous ovens, dough dividers, laminators, and flow-wrap packaging machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults swiftly to minimize production line downtime.
Utilities & Facilities Upkeep
- Monitor and maintain vital plant utilities, including steam boilers, air compressors, industrial chiller units, cold storage systems, and waste water treatment components.
- Assist in basic building maintenance, such as electrical wiring repairs, piping/plumbing tasks, and simple structural modifications.
Safety, Sanitation & Compliance
- Execute all maintenance activities in compliance with food safety parameters, maintaining a clean workspace to avoid cross-contamination.
- Log all completed work orders, spare parts utilization, and equipment diagnostics into the facility's maintenance tracker.
- Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
Education: Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in Industrial Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related trade certificate. College level or Engineering graduates are also welcome to apply.
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. Direct experience in a food manufacturing facility, cold storage plant, or bakery commissary is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and mechanical blueprints. Solid troubleshooting experience with motors, pumps, conveyor belts, pneumatic cylinders, and temperature controllers.
Core Competencies: Strong sense of urgency, analytical thinking, and the physical stamina required to lift equipment and work in hot or cold environments. Willingness to work flexible, rotating shifts to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
