Production Supervisor

JOB Requirements:

• Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of solid experience in Garment Manufacturing or equivalent
• Good in both written and oral communication, interpersonal relation
• Have proven effective management skills/style, and can collaborate well with others
• Excellent in Strategic Planning, Organizing, Coaching, Managing, Dealing with Complexity, Project Management, Process Improvement
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations
• Self-motivated, and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Tech-savvy

Responsibilities

Ø Conduct regular review of production schedules, product specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services

Ø Constantly figure out how to manufacture our products and deliver them with maximum efficiency

Ø Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient

Ø Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems and minimize costs

Ø Work hand-in-hand with Quality Assurance and Control team to develop quality standards for design and production

Ø Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards

Ø Confer with Merchandisers about product specifications, vendors about purchases, top management about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the development of projects.

Ø Can compute time in motion study and improve process flow

Ø Prepares operation breakdown and machine layout to meet schedule

Ø Proficient knowledge on different machine types, folders, and sewing techniques to improve productivity

Ø Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers

Ø Supervise multiple projects and keep production flow moving with floor supervisor.

Ø Ensures that all production schedules and quality standards are met, including production planning, monthly schedules, and loading schedules that support all shipping requirements.

Ø Analyzes production standards and workflow to anticipate problems, eliminate bottlenecks, and make changes as needed and maintains daily manning chart.

Ø Establishes and revises daily production quotas, or daily goals for all personnel not on piece work. Maintains inventory of materials and parts.

Ø Ensures that in process inspections are on-going and that quality trend information is analyzed and acted upon.

Ø Reviews master production schedule and work orders with floor supervisor and establishes priorities for specific customer orders.

Ø Revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.

Ø Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
