Scanning and Pricing : They scan items at the register, confirm prices, and ensure that the correct amounts are charged. This includes managing discounts, coupons, and promotions.
Cash Handling : Cashiers must balance their cash drawers at the beginning and end of their shifts, ensuring that all cash transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are reported.
Maintaining Cleanliness : Keeping the checkout area clean and organized is part of the job, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers
