Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
Request and compare quotations and negotiate prices and payment terms.
Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
Ensure purchased items meet required quality and specifications.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Coordinate with departments regarding purchasing requirements and inventory needs.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
Ensure purchases are made efficiently and within approved budgets.
Handle urgent purchasing requests and resolve supplier or delivery issues promptly.
Perform other purchasing-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and trustworthy.
Able to prioritize multiple purchasing requests simultaneously.
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic purchasing/inventory systems.
Previous purchasing or procurement experience is an advantage.
