Purchasing Manager

Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Evaluate market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure the best prices and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure smooth operations.
Cost Management:
- Analyze purchasing data to find ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Manage budgets and ensure procurement stays within allocated limits.
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or certifications like Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Industry-specific procurement experience is often preferred (e.g., manufacturing, retail, construction).
