Job Summary: The Accountant / Financial and Data Analyst is a critical role that combines traditional accounting duties with advanced financial analysis to support FoodHub, Ultra, and BMSG Medical Practice. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while providing insightful data analysis to drive business decisions. The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Responsibilities: Perform daily accounting tasks, including general ledger management, financial reconciliations, and monthly closings. Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and manage payroll processes. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation. Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation, supporting the Senior Accountant and CFO in audits. Financial Analysis Responsibilities: Business & Operations Analysis: Lead ongoing analysis of business results, focusing on variance versus expectations. Understand and communicate changes in trends in company, district, and store-level performance. Support all business analysis with accurate analytical models using a variety of data and assumptions.
